In Collaboration & Linkage with
Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM)
The Post Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program at the College of Science & Technology, Temple University, is pleased to announce our collaboration and linkage with TUSPM for our pre-podiatry students. Our colleges work together to introduce future podiatric physicians to the importance of focusing on the whole patient, rather than on isolated medical problems. Serious problems of the foot or lower extremity can adversely affect the overall health and well-being of a patient. Conversely, a systemic disease or disorder, such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease, may manifest itself first through potentially serious foot problems.
Our pre-podiatry students from both cohorts (BCHS and ACHS) attend clinical rotations at TUSPM, under supervision, to master core competencies in providing patient care for podiatric patients.
Please join us as member of a small pre-podiatry cohort of like-minded individuals interested in pursuing a DPM, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Prepare for the rigor of a full-time program, which also includes mentoring, clinical enhancement opportunities at the School of Podiatric Medicine, and embedded MCAT test preparation. Admission is on a rolling basis so we advise you to apply early.
Linkage provides entrance for successful CST post bacc students at the conclusion of the post bacc program. Successful CST students matriculate into Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine’s first year class in the August of the same year they complete the post bacc program.
