I honestly had no idea what a post bacc program was until I started applying to dental schools and realized I might not get in that cycle. So I starting researching and found the program at Temple, it sounded like the perfect program. It had all the core classes and DAT prep incorporated into the curriculum. I knew it was the place for me during my interview and everyone was so welcoming. It just felt like home from the moment I stepped on campus and I knew it would be a great experience!

Qualities that I wanted from a post-bacc program were a small cohort size and attention from the faculty. Both of which the Temple post bacc program provided in full.

The staff and faculty are some of the friendliest and most encouraging people I’ve ever met, and the program has a wide range of resources throughout the Temple University System as well as with schools across the country.

I was in search of a Post Bacc program that would expose me to the rigors of medical school, and one that would report my grades in a separate Post-Baccalaureate transcript rather than combining it with my undergraduate transcript. I believe that it is because of this distinction, medical schools were able to see that I was capable of excelling in a science-dominated curriculum.

On interview day, the staff was extremely welcoming and kind, but they were also crystal clear about their expectations for students and sounded confident in their ability to help students achieve their dreams. I knew the post bacc team would be motivated to help us, and I felt inspired to prove to them what I was capable of.
