Pre-Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program
The CST post baccalaureate pre-diagnostic medical imaging (DMI) program is a full-time, structured 12 month program that provides students with the academic preparation needed to enter a DMI/sonography program to become a licensed sonographer. Diagnostic medical sonography is one of the fastest growing diagnostic fields, and sonographers are integral members of the health care team, communicating with patients, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. For more information please click here.
In this program, pre-DMI students attend classes that are primarily post-bacc exclusive as a cohort to maximize their learning experiences. These classes are taught by faculty from the College of Science and Technology and the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Our program will prepare students academically for the rigors of DMI/sonography programs.
